Any recommendations for a restaurant in the general area of Disney?
Open to all suggestions but wouldn't mind some good Cuban or Colombian food.
We will have 5 year old and almost 2 year old so take that into consideration for the suggestions.

There is a Chuys on W Irlo Bronson. We’ve only been once but definitely enjoyed it and it was very reasonable.

A couple of suggestions in the area. I visited both with my 8 and 10 year olds last year and they're very kid friendly.
The Columbian in Celebration
This place is ok. It's an institution in Florida and they have a few locations. It can be really good, or just ok. It's kind of cool to see the Stepford-ish Disney planned community that is Celebration.
Frontera Cocina in Disney Springs
This is Rick Bayless' place in Disney Springs. I've eaten here a couple of times and it's very good.

Not Colombian or Cuban, but Kobe Japanese Steakhouse on Parkway Blvd in Kissimmee is really good. They put on a great show (better than others that I have been to), and the food was good.

Depending on your definition of general area, I had a good experience at Padrino's Cuban Bistro 2 years ago.
Google map directions - seems to be about 15 minutes away
Yelp page for restaurant
When I was in Orlando, we tended to stay away from Disney - usually too crowded and too much traffic.

Not sure where you're staying but at the Crossroads (intersection of Lake Buena Vista drive and SR 535) there's a shopping center called Crossroads.
In it are a few places but the one I was going to suggest is Chevys. It's a chain but I've never seen one anywhere else. Their salsa is so good. Mainly mexican and tex/mex but it's not bad. Used to go there a lot when I worked at Disney.

There is a Giordanos pizza about a mile or so from Disney World. Best pizza I have ever had.

I don't know of it's good or not and its not Columbian or Cuban, but I do have to put a shameless plug in for a restaurant my sister in law works at which is Burger craft.
I've never been there either, but she was a manager at Tiffin's in animal kingdom and shes never steered us wrong with food.

I went with a large group of friends and thoroughly enjoyed Columbia. The sangria and 1905 salad are both delicious. I can't remember what I had as an entree but it was fantastic. I thought it was one of the better restaurants we've found when outside of Louisiana.
The menu is huge so even picky eaters should be able to find something they'll enjoy.

He's right. It's in the same Crossroads plaza I mentioned. There's a McDonalds too but I didn't want to suggest anything super fancy like that.

Stuffed pizza is amazing. And there is a guy who makes some really impressive balloon animals for kids.
