I've been planning on avoiding all of the SB bs, but I think I will go down there tomorrow morning.

Yeah, I've never seen NOLA host a SB, so it certainly is interesting.

I was 21 years old for the last one and I really don't remember much about it, to be honest.

Haha no it was him. He was really cool took a few pictures, not many people bothered him though. It wasn't too crowded. Headed to Carousel Bar now

Weird. I've seen him right off Bourbon before the year he played at Jazz Fest most recently. Must be his scene

Sitting in my windowless office just blocks from all the fun and beautiful weather is incredibly depressing. Life passing me by.

I was in this boat too, but I don't think I can resist all weekend.

I really wish I was able to go to NOLA this weekend. I'm so mad plus my parents are having a SB party.

@AdamSchefter: People of New Orleans could not be any more hospitable. Even with four more days to go, thank you in advance.

Put that in your pipe and smoke it to the people from NOLA are arrogant crowd.

I'll be in the CBD/warehouse district in the a.m. I'd buy you a drink, but it sounds like you'll be quartered without a window.

There is a man that I have seen at the Carousel bar before who thinks he is Rod Stewart. He has female hangeroners that are complete bitches. They try to make everyone believe he really is Rod. It is disturbing.

Planning on hitting some of the better bars around town on Saturday and seeing if I run into anyone interesting.

looking forward to going tomorrow to spend the night, partake in some festivities and see if i can pull off a couple of tix on sunday ..

There is a man that lives in my apartment complex that looks and dresses just like Rod Stewart. He even has the same hair and an English accent. Kind of weird.

I'm going down saturday to check out some of the festivities.

There has only been one Super Bowl I was more excited about and I could care less about the Ravens and 9ers. Plan on throwing my Deuce jersey on tomorrow and taking a bike ride down to the FQ. I bet New Jeresy looking at what's going on down here and is thinking damn we got to try and top that next year.
