I’ve been tasked with finding a spot in Nola, February 9th, party of 14 that takes reservations. It’s the night before the marathon so they’re wanting to carb load. Preferably uptown and casual. I’m coming up blank. Any suggestions?

Eta the quarter isn’t a deal breaker but I’d really rather avoid that cesspool

Vincent’s is a popular pre-marathon spot.

Thank your friends for being inconsiderate and closing our streets so they can exercise.

Avo May be able to get y’all together on their patio.

To OP—we’ve done that run for the past 10 years with a large group. Domenica is a good option.

Spudley’s fits the bill.

Be careful, the poster of which we don’t speak will be here with a Top 10 list soon.

Patio is no longer a thing. They renovated and closed it in completely.

Your post says the 9th, but the race is on the 9th. So you are looking for a place Saturday the 8th. Pascal's may be an option.

Just had a big group thing there over the holidays, and the waiter they gave us was an absolute prick. Would not be a place I recommend for group outings if that's the best they can do for a planned private group setting.

You’re right, the 8th. Thanks for all the replies.

Can you name some of these "most places?" I can't say I've ever seen the autograt higher than 18% (maybe 20) anywhere in the city

This year we are doing Costera Saturday night and Justine Sunday night—also parties of 14. Shaya required us eating too early. Gianna and Sofia were other places I considered for Saturday night
