Anyone ever been?

I'm going next Friday and curious to see what's its all about. Is there an actual tour? Or just a free beer palooza...cause either way im down. Big fan of NOLA beers so I'm looking forward to it.

My buddy works there, so i take my own tours, but from what ive seen and heard its like any brewery tour. Beers will be drank and they'll show you some tanks if you're interested.

Good deal. Interested in seeing the tanks and inner workings. Hoping to score me a nice drinking glass too.

What Rutiger said... They give you a pint glass when you walk in and bring you straight to tap room. You can drink as much as you want and stay in tap room the whole time or you can still drink as much as you want and walk around and listen to the owner tell you ab the tanks. Pretty awesome really

You have to give pint glass back before leaving or you can buy it for $3

Never done an actually tour but have showed up at the tail end of many. It's really just a beer palooza with a little story about the process. I know the tours have been getting stupid big and they have been going through some beer. This Friday could be hit or miss with Hogs. Might want to make sure they are having one.

I've hung out with him on many occasions. Things at the brewery, other employees' house, or just at random shows. Cool guy.

Any chance you going to T-bois?

I would think Good Friday would be a good day to go. George Porter Jr is playing at Tips that night I think. Good way to start off the night.

That sucks. T-Bois is hands down my favorite festival of the year. Take away the good music and you still couldn't beat the beers and food. I'd buy a ticket for the alligator sauce piquante only.

I'm trying to go fishing on Good Friday but I'll more than likely end up a Tips that night.

Now that I have Friday afternoons off, I need to stop by and check it out. Always seemed odd they do it during a weekday.

probably because they dont want to have to work on the weekends. A LOT of smaller brewery "tours" ive been on were only on Friday afternoons or evenings. its not like they have a tap room they can sell beer out of (yet).
