It was good. It wasn't El Tiempo or Houston original Ninfas good, but it was good. Certainly better than any Tex Mex BR can offer today.

Owner of Ruth's Chris bought it out. The old executive chef from Ruths also got sent to Tio Javi's.

Funny timing for this thread... Some co workers and I ate there yesterday on Tio's dime.

Apparently there was a snafu with who would be waiting on us then a mixup in the kitchen with what I ordered and what was brought to the table. The manager promptly got the food corrected and all was good.

All restaurants change over time and yesterday wasn't anything to get upset over. Ill be back again eating there soon. Everyone at the table loved the offerings they ordered.

They have great lunch specials after the change over now.

The tuna tostadas.....



And i've never met anyone who didn't love the green dip.
