5 piece spicy Texas tenders, honey biscuit, fries and a couple smokey honey sauces with a drink. $8.49

The tenders were HUGE and hot and flavorful, I’d say almost twice the size of canes. Side note, they included the biggest stack of napkins I’ve ever gotten and I was able to get more than 3 sips of my tea since it wasn’t filled to the brim with ice.

Pretty sure Todd is charging close to $13 for a caniac these days. Pretty crazy the empire he has built out of such a mediocre product. Good service goes a long way I suppose

Service matters baw. Chick fila hasn’t created an empire by having the best products. It’s about the service

I've never tried, and never really had a hankering to try, Church's. This ringing endorsement got me, though.

Church’s has the best biscuit in the fried chicken game.

Canes prices are absurd these days. You'll pay over 10 for a box with 4 small tenders

Had some coupons in january where this meal was 6.99

i tore it up 3-4 times. i love church's. The crunch on the texas tenders is legit and the honey biscuit smokes the canes toast

They've gotten small, but still good. The OP is correct, Chruch's is underrated. The spicy tenders with fried okra and a pickled pepper is great.

I don’t know the current prices of Canes or Chick-a-Flick are, but I know it probably isn’t worth it. Maybe I’m a country bumpkin, but the glory that some give to those two restaurants has always amazed me. It’s just chicken at the end of the day, I know what I’m getting at a certain price point going to Popeyes’s, the same can’t be going to the other two.

These continuous threads confuse me. I got canes a week ago and more chicken could not have been fit in the styrofoam box. It was okay, maybe pretty good. I just rarely eat fast food. It was 12 bucks I guess with an extra sauce. But, I’m so confused on this weird fixation in size of tender

People are remembering 20 years ago when you got 5 fingers in a box and a combo was $6.50. The size of the tenders would vary but when canes got big they worked hard to ensure the size of the tenders were close to one ounce all around for consistency.

I paid 1.81 a gallon for gas 20 years ago. Geez, things get more expensive. But, there’s a weekly conversation about the canes fingers. It’s still like 12 bucks for a big pretty quality ff meal

It definitely isn't every single time but there is no doubt that on average the tenders are smaller. I went a couple weeks ago and they were basically nuggets

Church's thighs with there jalapeno peppers are awesome .Gave up on Popeyes chicken due to crummy service and chicken shrinkage . Southern classic is pretty good too .

Since Church's are typically located where you need a kevlar vest, I'm gonna take a hard pass.
