Why not open a place instead of complaining about what you can't get?

I'll donate.

We don't have a clue what a sandwich is in BR. A place that served a huge hot pastrami on rye with mustard or a huge Reuben would be awesome.

Apparently you've never been to New York Bagel.

Martini, I had no idea this concept had so much local support. Where would the best location be?

When I mentioned tongue, I was referring to a tongue sandwich similar to what you'd find in a NY deli.

Go to George's City Deli on the corner of Laurel and 7th street downtown. It's actually quite good and serves all the top-shelf Hebrew National meats.

"The Huey" is all you need to know...order it and don't look back if you're a Reuben fan.

Year's ago, the Caterie actually used to put out some damn good deli type sandwiches.

Not so much, anymore, from what I understand.

I checked out George's Deli today at lunch. Hebrew National Reuben, Zaps chips, Coke Zero was $15. On a scale of 1 to 10, I give it a 5. I felt violated.

Not sure but wherever it is you'll have to go across the street because my hot dog stand will be in it.

Yes the Caterie still has the best fried cheese ever. Not much else is still like it used to be. For the first decade they had great food. The Brousseau's owned it then but I think they have since sold it.
