I use Cowboy brand, available almost everywhere and have always had excellent results with it.

Rouse's will have the 14.6 lbs bag of Kingsford on sale for $4.50 +/-. I usually get two bags.. Not sure but I think H.D. has it at that price on the regular..

I'll vouch for that. I've used most of the premium lumps over the years, and Fogo is probably the best of the bunch. Pieces aren't as big as some of the logs you'll get in a big bag of Lazzari Mesquite, but very good.

I am working through a bag of B&B right now, and so far I like it better than Cowboy. I have usually gotten a lot of dust and tiny pieces in cowboy, but this bag of B&B is almost all large pieces. I’ve even had to break up some of them. Academy carries it here.

I used the pecan last week and it didn’t burn hot enough for me. The black bag B&B has been the best I’ve used.

I saw Lowe’s had some really large bags for pretty cheap yesterday. Not sure of brand. Just caught my eye while heading to plumbing.

I use kamado joe big block primarily also, it really cant be beat. Dicks sporting goods carries it online, I usually wait until they offer sitewide $20 off $100 deal and stock up about 10-20 at a time. Free Shipping too

ive been buying Royal Oak XL Cut for smoking. It has beautiful big chunks instead of a bunch of small broken pieces.

Usually use cowboy from Costco, or bge brand from the Ace down the street. Bge tends to end up with more rocks and shite after burning than cowboy ever does

Do you have a GFS store nearby? I asked a guy at my favorite Indian restaurant what they used to fire the tandoor and he showed me a bag of GFS branded lump charcoal that was clearly Royal Oak. They have 20 lb bags of it at the GFS store for $15 ea. I haven't purchased one yet. I just made this discovery a few weeks ago, already have a bag of charcoal, and I'm still weeks away from BBQ/grilling weather. But that's my next purchase when the time comes.

Ace Hardware usually has a selection.
K Joe and Cowboy are both available.
