have you seen him before? i just glanced at ticetmaster out of curiousity to see the prices....$50 for the cheapest seats?? was not expecting that. Granted his tickets in other cities look to be a good deal cheaper than in NOLA, but does he really have a huge enough following to charge that much?

There's all kinds of places, you're literally at the midpoint of the quarter, you just have to be willing (or able) to walk more than two blocks.

agreed; Mrs. EV dragged me to see it in Chicago. I was pleansantly surprised at how much I enjoyed it. I doubt I'll get that same pleasant surprise this summer when she drags me to see Michael Bublé...

not really. there were a TON of guys there.. i think it would be quite enjoyable for anyone.

unless you're just completely against musicals and such. it was extremely entertaining and kept my attention the entire time- which is very hard to do.

I really don't like musicals. I've see Phantom, Le Miserable, Miss Saigon, and Cats. I even got dragged to a Michael Crawford concert. It just isn't my favorite thing to do.

Not alot of partying in Metry before. Eat at Austins, Vincents, or Impastatos before hand for a pretty good meal.

What kind of bars are you into? Lagers is pretty good for after the show and it is nearby. You have a few of those Caddilac Cafe kind of places near the Land Mark where the "older" people like to party. Or at least that was what it used to be like at Legends and the other bar nearby. Might be another name now.

Drago's is right there in Fat City. So is Kanno. New Sid-Mar's is b/w Causeway and Clearview on Vets. I've heard good things about Cafe East, although the outside of the building looks pretty ridiculous, and I've never eaten there.
