Really? Ya'll think its that good? I would go for drinks, but for food? I just can't agree with this. As a former quarter rat I have to say this is not a great choice for food. Mustachioed bartender (maybe Mario?) is good.
Meauxbar = homo bar. Literally thats what it means. Just so the social conservatives know.

The pizza is just ok, but the meatball sandwich is good. Divine portobello is slightly better than ok.

favorite place for a steak.

Crescent City Steakhouse. Second would be Ruth's, but that bitch's kin sold out and left nola, so that was kind of a turn off.

had it there and was NOT impressed, in fact, the meat almost had a sour taste. Just my experience there.

Meatloaf, and flank stank there weren't that good either, but if you find yourself there again try the soft shell crabs b/c those are worth eating.
I really like Nola for lunch. The lunch prices are reasonable and the brisket and brie mac and cheese is fantastic. That one won't really work tomorrow, but I think Nola puts out a good product for the price at lunch. If you don't have a crowd, sit at the bar and you may not need a res.

I think Luke is a good suggestion. Drago's is only worth going to for the chr-broiled oysters and the gumbo (nothing special, but it is good). I think most of the menu at Drago's is pretty lame.
