It's been a few years since I've been down here for extended stay, so not sure what is new.
I've done Cochon and Peche for dinner. Did Butcher for lunch. Anything new? Still have the rest of the week.
I'd be willing to Uber somewhere else I guess if it was a must, but try to keep it within walking distance to Riverwalk area.

Goat Curry is legit!
Also check out Maypop and Seaworthy.

Compere Lapin is a good suggestion.
Both Miss River and Chemin a la Mer are right there in the new Four Seasons.
Sidecar
St James Cheese Company

Miss River and Chemin à la Mer are new in the Four Seasons.
Emeril's reopened.
Not new, but you could take the streetcar down to Mandina's or Katie's.
The Grill Room at the Windsor Court has some great lunch specials.

I know some people don’t like it much, but I’ve had good meals at Drago’s on the Hilton.

Good to hear someone has.
I've been there once and would have rather been at a cafeteria. Would have had same quality food w/o the wretched service.

Oysters & small plates is the play bunchy. Good summer wine list too. Come back and let us know what you think, would ya?

Miss River was a miss :(
Snapper crudo was bland compared to the Peche crudo. Redfish courtbouillon was ok. Needed some acidity or something.
Also just not a fan of hotel restaurants but opted to go there due to the rain.

The wife’s 3 favorite things on earth: oysters, small plates, and wine. Don’t know why the menu doesn’t speak to her but I’ve been wanting to check it out for a minute.

It’s not an exciting sounding menu when you read it, but the food is excellent. Going back this Friday with my family and cannot wait.
