Good suggestions here.

Fat Mamas: Always classified it as a snack and drink place rather than a full meal. Doesn't thrill me.

Totally agree with the Restaurant at Monmouth. Only criticism is that the food came out REALLY quickly.

Kings Tavern: has closed.

Malt Shop - Old Timey vibe - was cash only when I went.

BIG applause for The Kitchen (Across from Biscuits and Blues)

We hunt south of Natchez so we eat up there a good bit. Love the little city

Trying to convince my parents to retire there

Wife and I stayed in Natchez about a month back. I enjoyed fat mommas for lunch and the castle was very nice for dinner. Did not care for my food at magnolia

Had a good meal at Pearl Street Pasta a couple years ago.

Someone here tipped me to the Donut Shop tamales. A dozen were tied in a small, juicy, spicy bundle. Very good, and a different style than your Zwolle or Texas tamale.

Castle is awesome. Really cool little bar downstairs too.

Donut shop is pretty solid as others have mentioned.

Quick little weekend trip....We ate at 1818 and it was very good. Natchez Brewing had really good pizza and pretty good beer. Was not impressed with Fat Mama's, below average food and the "Knock You Naked" Margarita's were way too sweet.

We'll get back up there at some point and try some other places.

The restaurant at Monmouth Plantation
pretty sure this closed also. Must have been only during covid iirc. We had good brunch there previously.

Kings Tavern has good cocktails and is a cool historical building

been shut down a long while now. Building is empty which is sad.

Magnolia Grill is always good and the donut shop tamales are awesome.
