Redd is a good one. He also has a pizza restaurant.

Oakville Grocery.

Any of the Thomas Keller restaurants as well.

In Sonoma, The Girl and the Fig is really delicious.

Pretty much anywhere in Yountville.

Bouchon, Ad Hoc, Redd, R+D, French Laundry is worth it once as a bucket list item.

2 that we repeat every time we go however are:

Farmstead at Long Meadow Ranch in Saint Helena (ridic farm to table food, you can tour the farm, outdoor areas to hang out and drink, overall super cool place and the food is out of this world. Would recommend going for lunch and spending part of the day there)

Model Bakery in Napa for breakfast. Although I think there is one in Yountville now too. Most ridic English muffins I’ve ever had.

Have fun. So many good choices in that area

I found Mustards overrated. Although it’s defintiely a staple when you look up Napa restaurants. Maybe we caught em on an off night...

I can second both Bouchon and The Girl and The Fig. Also, Tasca Tasca has great tapas in Sonoma.

Basalt and Napkins in downtown napa were great. New American food.

Thomas Keller's stuff in yountville is amazing. The French Laundry, 3 Michelin star, will be tough to get without a lot of planning and good timing, but Bouchon Bistro is near it and is very good as well. He's classical french, but Ad Hoc is more laid back and American style food, in yountville too.

Farmstead in St Helena is great too. Patio is great for lunch. Farm to table stuff. Another spot right down the street if you want a great burger is Gott's. They usually have a long line though.

Dean and Deluca is pretty cool if you're into that too.

You really have to try to find a bad meal there. And every place will have a great wine list.

And if you're looking for a badass dive bar to get some great beer, go to bilcos in Napa.

Thanks guys. Going for our 20th anniversary. Wife found a place next door to our hotel. Italian place near the town square of Napa called Ristorante Allegria. Any of yall ever been there? Supposed to be good. We'll see.

Haven't been there, but it's hard to find bad food there.

Let me know if you need winery recs.

Let's start with French Laundry, which is on another level and if you get an opportunity to go, do it.
Otherwise, here are some of my favorites:
Dinner:
Yountville-
*Ad Hoc (Thomas Keller restaurant that is very casual and serves the menu of the day family style)
*Redd Wood (casual place with wood fired pizzas and pastas)
Downtown Napa
*Zuzu (tapas)
Lunch
*Oakville Grocery
*Gott's Roadside

And take your picnic afterwards to La Famiglia di Robert Mondavi and grab one of their bottles and eat at the picnic tables overlooking their vineyard. View is spectacular

I really enjoy Copia in Napa.. The Culinary Institute of the Arts and there are food and wine classes offered, expo's, tastings, restaurant and gift shop/bookstore.

They use a ticket system now through Tock, and I don't think it's nearly as difficult as it used to be. It's all online, reservations open every other month. I reserved on May 1 for August, and there were plenty of open times.

Oakville Grocery was awesome.

Also enjoyed walking around Oxbow Market. There were some good places inside there.

Don Giovani is our old standby. Very good Italian food. Bistro Jeanty for French bistro type of food. Terra was very good. There are many great restaurants in that area which is not surprising because the main reason to go there is to drink great wines with food to match.

Brasswood Winery. Great food, nice restaurant. Get the fresh made mozzarella app. Just north of Napa on Hwy 29 near St. Helena. I go back every time i'm out there. No corkage fee on your own bottle of wine.
