It's may 3 and all the reservations they opened on may 1 are gone. You still need the right timing.

Bistro Jeanette is better than Bouchon. Ad Hoc is fantastic. If you want something fancy, Auberge du Soliel is great. Like others have said, it’s really hard to find bad food.

Farmstead at Long Meadow Ranch in Saint Helena. I thought it was great as previous posters have mentioned. The wife swears it was the best meal she's ever had, but that could be because we were drinking all day and she was really hungry.

I haven't been to Napa in a long time but Mustard's Grill used to be fantastic. It's on Hwy. 29 a little north of Yountville.
