Do you not dine out?

I can understand not liking raw onions, but most dishes involve cooked onions. Easy enough to control at home, but at a restaurant? Good luck.

The only thing I’ve eaten that I truly hated was sea urchin.

I can’t stand oysters.

Mussels taste like barnacles.

Cilantro.
My wife hates this, but I love it. Tried pico de gallo and substituted parsley with cilantro, no taste what so ever. Not a big sushi fan.

Re cilantro, isn’t it a genetic marker that determines how it tastes like soap for some people?

Dino kale I quite enjoy. Cooked down in the pan a bit It's a nice veg side. The curly green kale...yeah no thanks.

Cilantro is best if used in moderation.

To the kale haters, have you tried it baked at a high temp in the oven. This is the only way I eat it. The other key is to remove the spine so it is not bitter.

I make a cilantro dijon sauce that my picky eater husband loves.
We have a friend who hates the taste of celery, that seems to be a northern European genetic thing.

My hates: sea cucumber
French style Andouille sausage, looks like a horse d**k, very coarse cut with lots of gristle,
and smells like horse meat and no amount of exotic mustard will make it edible.
Most organ meat
Spanish style conger eel (not even the French in our group could eat more than a small bite.

Yes, getting around this obstacle is quite complicated. You have to have the ingenuity to say "Can you hold the onions?" or "leave off the onions."

Broccoli
Liver (beef or chicken)
any kind of meat in a can (especially Vienna sausages)
Sushi or any other raw meat--fire was invented for a reason
Cauliflower
Caramel
Anything remotely related to this plantburger nonsense. Stop trying to pass off plants as meat. No one ever insists on making a steak into a head of lettuce stop trying to make plants into meat.
