Not a whole lot of choices in LA when it comes to Ramen, but there are some good bowls out there. If there's a restaurant that I missed, I'd love to hear about it and I'll go check it out.
1. Kin, New Orleans
2. Tsunami, Lafayette
3. Noodle and Pie, Uptown
4. Ichi Ramen, Marigny
5. Little Tokyo, Uptown and Metarie
.
.
.
100. Osaka, Houma (seriosuly, avoid this bowl)

I have Noodle & Pie at the top of my list. Kin was dissapointing for me. You should also try Ba Chi, they are putting out some good ramen.

I found the tsukamen underwhelming at Kin, but to me the tonkotsu hit it out of the ball park. I loved how the chasu was more of a crispy chinese style, and the charred baby Bok Choy was nice.

I had Kin's ramen at lunch just once...it was a beautifully composed bowl, but was on the delicate & understated side.
Best ramen I've eaten in LA was a blue crab & pork version at Noodle & Pie...crazy good depth & flavor. I haven't seen a crab version on its menu lately, dunno if it's gone forever or just seasonal.

Was greatly disappointed by the ramen at Kin for lunch. Very underseasoned and clumpy noodles.

This is enlightening. I was going to Kin for the ramen specifically in the next day or two

Kin is so meh
The only thing meh I ever had at Kin was the ramen. Everything else has been pretty darn good.

i must have hit Kin on a good day. disappointing to hear all of this.
i know they do a lot of special ramens here and there (they did a crawfish bisque ramen recently). it was the house Tonkotsu that i really liked.
