It isn't even dark. All but one of them was out of food by 7:45 and the one that did have food left didn't take cards.

Yes, I understand theres limited space on these things but figure out a way to make it work to keep cooking through dusk and what food truck is successful by not taking cards??? Get the square app.

I tried, this is twice it's now happend where I've arrived well before 8pm to have closed up trucks. I really want to support y'all but it's not reliable.

I'll never give a dollar to smokey after that BS...

I'll still buy from food trucks when they are near my office at lunch but I won't bank on them anymore when the round up is a few blocks from my house.

At calandros? I was out there from 5-6ish and they had:

Curbside
Taco de Paco
Dolce vita Pizza
Three bones catering
Ninja snowballs
GeauxYo

Did more show up after I left? I was hoping to check out the links truck

Look, it's the week before BR's deadest week (Jul 4), the parking lot temp was somewhere near 2467 degrees, and it somewhat-rained. Frankly I wouldn't be surprised if the truck owners just took the next month and a half off -- so tonight's crowd and food availability was acceptable to me. Besides, what part of "starts at 5" did you miss?

Well this isn't the first time it's happened. I'm at the office until 6 or so and went to city park for an hour and a half. I don't think 3 hours of service is unreasonable.

I understand your frustration. I try to go by 7 to have my choice of anything due to the popularity of food trucks in general, especially the round ups.

I was really shocked that one of the trucks didn't take plastic. There isn't really an excuse with Square.

Starts at 5 doesn't mean stops at 8. Plus I'm not a blue haired retired Jew looking for an early bird special. This has happened to me three times and won't happen again.

If they want my business they have to consider my schedule as well as most other people's schedule. If they are content with what they are shoving out the window so be it but that is as far as they will ever go.

If I am running a truck I'm looking for ways to accommodate the patrons and I don't give a shite about the temperarture. Tow a vehicle to blow down the street to a vendor.

7:45pm is not late.

That's less than two hours from when I typically leave work.

They are working out of the back o a truck, as this is the case they do not have a walk-in cooler for food storage. In other words get there EARLY or plan on eating elsewhere.
