Lawernce Bread!!!!!! (to sop up the cabanera sauce)

I seem to remember having them ask if I wanted it, and not mentioning that it's extra.

The $5 the bread cost, is pretty damn worth it!!!!

I think that Brew Bacher's is overpriced. Only went once, but I can get a better po-boy with more shrimp for cheaper.

Most people are going with sit down places and not the fast food variety.

Keeping that in mind, I think Raising Cane's is the most overpriced restaurant in Baton Rouge.

Fresh, not prebattered shrimp?

Where can you get one cheaper than that?

South of Philly's Chicken Philly is something around 15 dollars for a large. Couldn't believe it. You can get the same thing for 8 at Raoul's.

The Serve Your-self Hot Food Buffet at Whole Foods next to the Salad Bar. $7.99 Per pound!

My wife wanted Mashed Potatoes and I stopped there to get a loaf of the Seduction Bread and a Wedge of the Australian Parmesan (2 of my all time favorites and primarily the only reason that I go there).

I saw Mashed Potatoes next to Hambuger steaks and decided that it was quick and simple. I got just enough for two side items and it was $7 dollars. The sad thing was that they were not that good. Learned my lesson there and I dont buy any of the hot foods from WF.

We are thinking about adding a combo to our menu to include fries and a drink and make the sides a little more affordable.

But seafood is expensive and I definitely couldn't work on less money (at least to make a profit) for a 6 in shrimp poboy given the amount of shrimp we put on a poboy. I costed one out and there is around 25-35 shrimp on each 6in poboy and it's not popcorn shrimp either. Take a 12in shrimp poboy and it has over a pound (and up to 1.5 pounds) of shrimp on it. With that amount of shrimp it is hard to close it to eat it. We are using 40-50 peeled shrimp which is a midsize peeled shrimp. I have seen where a few of my competitors are higher for the same amount of shrimp and in a bunch of instances higher for less and smaller shrimp.

And for the person that asked, we don't use prebattered shrimp. We batter our own.
