I noticed they have a wood pile on side the building so I figured it had to be soon.

Thats comical. If you take sombody out of town to Galetois and do it right, than it is one of most enjoyable and memorable meals they will have

true if you get the seafood platter....but the BBQ shrimp is one of the best in the city IMO

I've been underwhelmed (as have my friends) every time I've been there. The BBQ shrimp I had the other day at Avery's was better than the famous Liuzza's BBQ shrimp. It's not a terrible place, but I would only go there if in the area, for example, Jazz Fest

Well, you are in luck because Bacco closed down. A new place called Sobou opened in its place.

I dont know how highly regarded it is anymore, but for a former "best new restaurant" Ignatius was pure garbage the last two times I went. Worst excuse for shrimp and grits I've ever encountered

It's not highly rated, therefore it's not overrated!

Went once with a group of about 8 and they wouldn't put the Saints game on the TV right in front us. We left.

Agree that Rum House & Juan's Burrito are overrated. I waited close to an hour for a table at each restaurant. The portions were tiny as well. I liked the food better at RH but its not worth that long of a wait for it.
