I’m looking for dinner in Metairie or around the airport. This may have been discussed before. I’m open to anything.

Friend,

It is hard to go wrong with New Orleans’s best, and by extension, America’s best Italian restaurant, Impastato’s.

The best restaurant in Kenner, and less than a mile from MSY’s new terminal, is Kenner Seafood.

Yours,
TulaneLSU

So good. Their bean dip is amazing.

If you want real Italian go to Vincent’s. Second choice for Italian would be Sandros. Don’t listen to TulaneLSU, he’s got horrible judgment.

Those reviews are from 2020. Do they still live up to the hype you've promulgated on this site?

If you like Mexican, Don Jose's at the corner of Williams and Veterans Blvds is legit. Right by the airport too.

Don Jose’s is good but I like Casa Garcia better and it is right down the street.

I was at Impastato’s last Saturday night and it was excellent, but I don’t consider that near the airport.
