Too much of a sissy blue shirt concept. I ain't walking in there with another man during lunch for business.
(Mostly sarcasm, but that's why I'm saying I'm def not the target demo)

Yea, you caught me before my edit. I realize that. I'm just slightly salty because I had high hopes for that spot because I loved the old Bon Temps.

I think he is looking for the new "look at me scene".

Had dinner here Wednesday. Food was amazing, cocktails and wine list impressive! I’m glad someone is investing in our town-I’ll be back??????

While you were there...when you closed your eyes, did it almost feel as if you were at your cultured friend's house?
We're just busting balls, glad you enjoyed it. I will be checking it out.

Chicken (fried not grilled) sandwich is pretty dam good....truffle fries will change your life....salads are dam good with either shrimp or grilled chicken. Tuesday opening...I sat next to former LSU football player and his wife (son is on team now)...they loved it too.... They will do a brunch on Sat and Sundays in not too distant future...

Thanks for the report. New brunch spot would be good.

Now that the misspellings have been corrected, I think the menu sounds good.
If you look at the Social menu, it has some cutesy names. Is handhelds really worse than sammies? As far as whoever seemed surprised about frites, that doesn’t seem uncommon. Frites for everyone!

Food was great for lunch today. Tried several cocktails and a few wines off the list. It will definitely be in my rotation. Wife is going with friends tonight

I'm scratching my head over the wine list. My first thought was how the hell are they going to offer over 30 different bottles of wine by the glass and keep them fresh? Also, it's a very ambitious wine program for a menu that technically has no entrees.
I'm a bit baffled at what they're trying to be.
