Recommend me a buffet menu for the local (County name) County Committee of the (Political) Party of Georgia's annual fundraiser dinner.

A United States Senator could be in attendance...

Criteria:
Salad
Vegetable Side
Starch Side
types of Protein
Bread
Dessert

Do US Senators eat differently? Offer whatever you think everyone else will like.

Tell him to cater with all the money he's stolen from the people.

Those guys eat great food all the time and they eat a lot of garbage places too, the chances of you being memorable is slim to none to be honest. I wouldn't worry about it, just serve food that tastes good. As in, don't try do to something special and frick it up.

pork

Edit - seriously as you probably know, political events in GA are usually BBQ unless you are in South Georgia where fish fries are more common.

Or classic grilled chicken halves and all the fixing done the “4H” way.

Who cares? They are public "servants", not gods. You shouldn't have to cater your menu to impress them. We The People are partially responsible for creating these power-hungry elected leaders. Treat them like the common man and they will fall in line.
