Just relo’d to Memphis; so far have tried Flight, Central BBQ, Bluefin, Majestic; any hidden gems we are missing? Corporate housing for a few weeks so we aren’t able to cook much.

Uncle Lou's chicken. A bit in the hood but their dipped chicken is like crack. Also if hog and hominy is still open it was pretty legit.

The Uncle Es are good for breakfast. Brother Junipers near UofM is a great place for breakfast! Automatic Slims Tonga Club is a slick place to take a date. For hamburgers and lunch, Hueys, and the aforementioned Tops BBQ makes a mean cheeseburger.

Go to one of the Hudman/Ticer places. Catherine & Mary's is downtown, Andrew Michael and Hog & Hominy are in East Memphis. C&M and AM are nicer and H&H is more casual. All 3 are excellent

Also the grey canary is their new place downtown and it is awesome. Kind of casual like hog & hominy (which IMHO is their best).

I don’t care what anybody says, I love eating at the Rendevous. Yes, there’s better BBQ out there, but it’s just a cool place. 4:00 PM lobby drinks at the Peabody, watch the ducks go up the Elevator at 5:00 and then dinner at the Rendevous. I’m sure I’d tire of it if I were a local, but on the rare occasion I make it to Memphis, I do that one night while I’m there.
