It's been nearly 10 years since I have been, but my absolute favorite food I had while there was the 808 Deli. Their sandwiches are at another level.

We did sit down restaurants, but none of them really stood out for me to remember. This place I will never forget.

it's been about 10 years for me also, but Sansei had VERY good sushi. It was located right outside a golf course.

So far I've got reservations at Leilani's on the beach, Lahaina Fish Co, Hula Grill and Kimo's. All at around 6:00pm for sunset.

Leilani's on the beach

If this is the place I am remembering, we went there a few times. Very good food, and the beach area was great.

Are you doing the road to Hana? If so, there's this Huli Huli chicken spot on the way that is to die for. They sell out pretty quick so you'll want to get there no later than 11 if you want some. Cash only IIRC. This is an absolute must.

If you are anywhere near Kapalua, you should go to Merriman's.

Fleetwood's on Front St. used to be my jam but it wasn't nearly as good last time I went in August. I would instead opt for Star Noodle if you're looking for a spot in Lahaina.
