Well that sucks.
Is this effective immediately? If the article had a date, I missed it.

They had an interesting menu that was consistently well executed, so yes, it does.

Agreed. Kevin was doing a good job in the kitchen there. Enjoyed every meal

Though he cannot discuss it yet, a new restaurant concept will be taking over the Marcello’s location, which was renovated heavily before Todaro moved in last year. Landlord Donnie Jarreau says the new restaurant group will either assume Marcello’s lease or sublease the location from him.
I wonder which restaurant group it is.

The one on Veterans closed too, but it was almost like a restaurant flip. Maybe they are on to a new business model.

Yes, I was talking about the BR location. The Metairie situation was more complicated. It involved the Coyote Blues group and the lease was up. They sold and pulled the plug.

I know the new group coming in. They are good people. I think folks will be happy with what is announced.

Seems like I’ve been hearing that name for 20-30 years and they always close.... don’t think it’s us, it’s them that must suck

No, it's more of a date-place concept.
