Seconded. All of their stuff is great. The little paring knife is one of my favorites.

Have you regretted a hand can opener purchase in the past? I would think anyone you buy would work fine

everyone should have at least one manual can opener.

I prefer the side cut openers.

They seem to have precipitously decreased in quality. I bought one after high school that lasted 10 years. Since then, I've not had a manual can opener last over six months. I ended up just getting an electric one I mostly use now so I don't have to constantly keep purchasing can openers.

Kuhn Rikon is the GOAT
Watch a YouTube video of how it works and then you'll never, ever have can opening issues again
My wife and I argue over who gets to open cans with it

I've always used Farberware and liked them very much. The last one I bought shredded the label from the can. I sent them the opener and the shreds and have never heard from them, even though they have a warranty.
Thanks for your help!

I have an old rusty one that works great, but every new one I've bought stops working in a short period of time. Its like they stop aligning correctly or stop turning altogether.

I also have a Swing-A-Way that I've been using for decades which has given me zero problems.

Even our 95 year old grandma can use the ZYLISS Lock N' Lift Can Opener with Lid Lifter Magnet.
