I recall eating at some local fry house after playing a round at Carter plantation. It was solid for what it was. Maybe it was Charlie's? Reminded me of Vals in Maurepas (RIP).

Charlie's is about all their is, unless you go to Ponchatoula or Hammond. It's not as good a Parrains, but it's better than a lots of places in the area.

Charlie's. They fry stuff well, steaks and burgers also good (though it's been a year since I've been.

Lagniappe is pretty good, but Charlie's is better. I've heard good things about the Carter Plantation restaurant.

The best thing at carter plantation is the restaurant. Pretty much everything else sucks

That's it. Some of the best seafood gumbo you'll eat.... Good étouffée as well.

stuffed mushrooms at charlie's are pretty insane.. even though they are an app, they are an entire meal by themselves. Huge...

Went to a function at carters plantation and the food was awful...stone cold with no seasoning....I would rather eat at Piccadilly or mc donalds than go back there for food...the only thing that was decent was the spinach artichoke dip. everything thing else was terrible

I find the golf course to be wonderful. With all the rain this summer it was in nice shape when I played last week

The course is a good one. I think they are reworking the greens this week, though.

I've had a couple of good meals at the grill at Carter's. The seared tuna salad was excellent.
