Thats just not even downtown at all. A good 10 min drive from downtown...

Depends how nice you are looking to go. Stroube's does a good lunch special.

I second Cafe Mimi. They still do a lot of the regular dishes Harrington’s did, but also have a Vietnamese menu.

Best lunch I’ve had downtown in a while though.. Driftwood Cask. They’re doing some good stuff.

Cecilia is open downtown too. I haven't been there yet, though the menu looks promising.

Solid choice. I enjoy Cocha's lunch menu as well. Faye's has good sandwiches.

And we appreciate you to neilh.

I like Poor Boy Loyds but it’s just an old time restaurant. Decent breakfast, hot coffee, good red beans and the only place in town that has a salami sandwich. Wish they had liverwurst. You aren’t going to right Home about it but there is a reason it’s been around for probably 50 years.

The dining room at the state capital has good salads and surprisingly a good burger. It’s run by the people that own Mellow Mushroom.

And while I don’t like the Little Village at Barringer Foreman I do like lunch at the one downtown. They have a good selection of salads and always a good fish dish or two. I don’t waste my money on the overpriced, greasy bread.

Keep us posted neilh.

Driftwood is disgusting, don’t go there. Tried twice, both times food was raw. One buffalo chicken sammich as a burger. Never again.

They do have a ton of retreaded service industry regulars from BR so if you liked Hound Dogs half the staff is there. Food is horrible though.

Did the owner ever do something else? Really liked that place.

Dude Zolia was the best. Unfortuantely, they said they were coming back and never did.
