Stopped by the burgersmith place on Seigen ln for lunch yesterday. I had a Smith burger, it had caramelized onions and the smith sauce was a spicy mayo and it was very good. The wife had a black bean patty with avocado and stuff on a gluten free bun and they were very good about her celiac condition. I had a draft beer and we got out of there for less than 30 bucks. We really enjoyed it and plan to go back. It's hard to find good burger, pizza, etc kinda places that Peggy can eat safely in with her gluten allergy. This was a real win for us and we recommend it to any other celiacs or any one looking for a good burger for lunch

Glad you enjoyed it and tell Peggy hello.

I like the grilled fish sandwich myself but Agnes prefers the burger. It’s win win.

Plus Curbside is too expensive.

Not a fan of their beef burgers at the one in Lafayette, but they have the best turkey burger that I have had.

They make a solid burger. They have a decent beer selection of all Louisiana brews.

The Perkins location used to be my go to, work close by. Then something happened about a year and half or two years ago. The butter garlic fries now barely have any of the butter and garlic seasoning on them. I have to order my burger well done, if you order medium rare it's rare and Im not against some pink. They changed buns, now the burger falls apart. It was a messy burger to start but the last time I went it just fell apart.

I now suck it up and go to Curbside when I have a hankering fro a burger.

That is odd. The reason I don't like their beef burgers is they are always to done and dry. This is the Lafayette location.

Unlimited toppings on Wednesday is hard to beat. That or two for one Smithburgers on Tuesdays. Definitely one of the best value burgers in town.

Yeah, I can't say that it's a good cheap burger, because I can't NOT get a Filet Burger. It's just that much better.

That being said, it is one juicy son of a gun and the bun can't really hold up over time. Especially if you get to go.

I love Curbside but have to put my order on lay-away.

How is the wait time these days? I haven't been back to the one on Perkins because it takes an hour and 45 minutes to do lunch.

I will say, my last to-go order of 2 burgers, no fries, took forever. And now they won't even let me sit at the bar while I wait.

I had to hang out by the hostess with all the Waitr drivers.

Been to Siegen twice. Poor both times. Burger was mediocre the first time and hardly even lackluster the second. Service was worse than the food. Went to the one in the LP once. Once. Wish it wasn't this way, but it was. At a hamburger joint.

Burgersmith has horrible service. They made me wait 45 minutes for a takeout burger a few weeks ago and the restaurant was half empty. Great food though.

we arent ones to complain but slow service. More times to enjoy a few drafts while we visit. It was a lil slow for being mostly empty I think it was like 2pm. Chatted up the help and ahd fun we are never in a hurry.
