I'm not big on rum, but when it's hot out a rum & pineapple with a splash of grenadine is delicious. Too sweet for more than 1 or 2 though.

One of the best rum drinks I ever had was made right on the beach in St Thomas. Some dude just put in a bunch of different fruit (coconut, melon, citrus), Ice and a ton of rum into a blender and let it go.

Got any ginger beer and a lime?
I know its supposed to be a dark rum, but a dark and stormy is tasty, and am sure it would work ok using a light rum.
