Looking for a good vacuum sealer

I know chamber vac is the best option, I just don’t have the room to store one.
I’m looking for the “Food Saver” type even though it doesn’t have to be that brand. The options out there are a bit overwhelming and these days it’s hard to trust online reviews. And apparently some overheat?
Anyway, I’m wanting some recommendations!

I bought a basic Food Saver brand on black Friday or prime day online for $30 7 or 8 years ago. Gets used a few times a month. Not the fanciest option, but it's small enough to store in a kitchen drawer.
The key to using a cheaper sealer instead of a chamber is to freeze things with a lot of liquid prior to sealing. It's an extra step, but if you don't have room/budget for a chamber, it's a workable fix.
The 150' roll of vacuum material in a cardboard box with cutter on Amazon works fairly well.

I have an old Food Saver still going strong. If you get one, get the one where you can attach a Jar sealer. Cookies, crackers, chips, etc. all last much longer if sealed in mason jars. Same for sealed leftovers and some fresh fruit and veggies. I use mine every day.

I think Costco usually sells a Food Saver bundle for a decent price.
I finally got one a couple of years ago. Works good. Easy.

I have this one and use it about once a week.
It has worked great so far.

I think the food saver brand is a good start, if you aren't sure you will actually use it a ton.

The first one I got was a Food Saver and it worked great------until it didn't about 2 years later.
Then I got a Nesco Model VS-12 and have been using it for a few years now and have no issues with it. It gets used at least 3-4 times a month since I make my own sausages, buy large hunks of meat to part out, make beef jerky, smoked salmon, home made bacon, etc.
It cost me around $125 from Amazon but I'd imagine it's a bit higher now.

I've always used ziplock freezer bags, a straw to suck vacuum, and hand seal. Never a problem.

I have this one from VEVOR. I know you said you didnt have space for it but it doesn't take up much room. It is pretty heavy though. Once you get a chamber vac you won't look back.
