I don't think I've ever had a pizza from Little Caesar's, but that pepperoni pizza commercial is enticing. Bread, sauce, lots of cheese and pepperoni...what could be bad?

I may break out the piggy bank and use the change for one.

I used to look down on Little Caesar's. But we bought a house right by one and we've made emergency trips there for meals when shite fell through or we had surprise guests. It's on the same level as Pizza Hut, Domino's or Papa John's. Matter of fact, they have a better crust than Papa John's.

I never liked Papa John's crust. I didn't order it much because of that. Reminded me of cardboard.

i once left a review on their website saying "if better ingredients make better pizza, then Papa John's must by the worst ingredients they can find".

The manager offered me free chicken wings.

GG - When our boys were playing football, we would stop by Little Caesar's when we would leave their games and by the time they got home, we would have had a slice apiece and they and their friends would consume the other two or three or four or eight pizzas we brought home. My memories of that time were that there was no way to buy enough pizza for the football guys who came with them after a game. Now that it is just the wife and I only one is needed and we hardly eat all of it. IT still seems to be the go to when our sons, wives the four grandkids and their dates, friends, whatever are here.

Having said all of that, I am not a big fan of LC's crust. The sauce is also a little sweet for me. Of course, I never had pizza I wouldn't eat at least a slice or two of.

It won't be your favorite, though.

I will crisp up that crust on my baking steel which does wonders for crusts that aren't so great.

I sent someone out to get one for me to warm and eat later on. Darn thing has a ton of cheese and pepperoni, crispy pepperoni. It's huge, too. I will probably manage two slices. It was only $6 and small change.

LC's is just as good as any other chain pizza joint to me. It's pepperoni pizza at the end of the day. The only thing I don't like about it is I have found that it can't be warmed or it tastes like cardboard so I really ever want it when I can split it with someone. The time or two I've gotten it by myself in a crunch I ate what I wanted and threw the rest away.
