It's $5 and it's pizza. And for that they do a good job

Let's not forget about that crazy bread.

Nah, I was working. I don't drink during day.

Heated my baking steel. Crust was crisp and cheese was perfect. I had it freshly made when picked up. It was darn good cheap pizza. I would order again even though it feeds an army. We didn't make much of a dent. Cheese seemed to good quality. I'm shocked based on the price. I didn't quite make it through 2 full slices.

ETA: I love crispy pepperoni and most of it was a bit crispy and very plentiful.

Little Caeser's is pretty good. My only complaint is the one here in town uses a TON of cornmeal underneath the pizza dough (instead of the traditional flour to prevent it from sticking to the counter) so when you eat it, all these cornmeal grains fall everywhere.

The one in Sulphur doesn't do that.

Their cheesy bread is the bomb. I love that stuff.

I remember when I was in high school, they had a thing where you bought one pizza and got another, the same size, for free. It wasn't a promotion, I don't believe. It's just how it was. They came in these big long, shallow bags.

It's on the same level as Pizza Hut, Domino's or Papa John's.

What about Costco? I love me a Costco slice of pep. I would take it over any of those three.

We have one right near our house, and used to pick up a couple a week. It is a quick, cheap, easy meal that is good for a small family. I hate they did away with the combo. It used to be a Pep, ICB, and 2 liter for 10 bucks. First time I ordered that and they told me it was no longer on the menu, I cried a little inside.

And speaking of meals after football practice, back in the day my family would order two larges from Domino's or Papa John's. One for my parents and two sisters, and one for me. And I could always eat the whole large by myself, and they would have a slice or two left. Just couldn't get full.

I dont like papa Johns too much sauce that is over loaded with Italian seasoning. yea yea I know its an Italian pie but I aint Italian.

Usta like pizza hut but they have gone down hill big time at least the ones I have been to lately.

Domino's is pretty good, I liked them best as a chain till LIL ceasers enticed me back with their commercials.
I tried a couple of their specials and cant wait to wrap my lips around the cheesey Pepperoni one. Maybe tomorrow. Surprisingly the last baconator one I tried I didn't care for. Hate me if ya want but there is a such a thing as too much bacon on ya pizza.

I like lil ceasors pizza and it is my new chain joint favorite.

Wood fired pizza is my favorite type overall.

I was a long time fan of the Pizza Hut thin and crispy for chain pizza. Not as good as it once was.

I love the crust at Pizza Village in Lafayette.

yea I was limiting my comment to big chain joints like lil ceasers and among those I think its the best. family joint and small chains rule of course.
Dino's in Lafayette is a good example. hard to beat their pies.
