Being that your post was the 1,999th post it appears it's you that doesn't belong on the food board.

First smoke of the new year. It's a delightful return.

That’s such a good cigar. I have one in the humidor that’s been resting for a while. I’m fighting with humidity drops right now

Is it cold where you are, been running the heater a lot? What the humidor do you have?

Might be able to help you out with some tips.

Yeah, it’s been averaging about 30 degrees the last few days. Fairly certain that’s the problem.

Heaters will suck the moisture real quick. You could try supplementing your humidor with more hydrating devices, or get some cat litter, unscented and synthetic brand, spritz with some water, place in a fish aquarium filter media bag and lay in your humidor. It pretty much allows the transference of humidity by absorbing and releasing at optimal RH, 70%.

I just tossed another Boveda in, but the cat litter idea may be better so I’m not wasting Boveda packs. This is the first winter I’ve had this issue, so I may just remove them all and re-season.

A little cigar shop in Ohio had them. Really surprised they didn’t limit how many I could buy

That is surprising. I’m convinced LFD just isn’t producing them anymore.

LFD is pumping more of them out now vs 2 years ago.

Damn.

I spent $50 on some Pardon’s at Don Juan’s last weekend. Brother is coming over tomorrow so we’ll be freezing our asses off near the fire pit, with some cigars and bourbon.
