I've dined at this place several times now and each time it never fails to impress. The restaurant interior is beautiful and instantly transports me back to the 90s and the grand Chinese restaurants of the day.

Rows of tanks line the back wall with lobsters, crabs, eels, and flat fish; ready to be selected and cooked.

The menu is huge, and the daily fresh/live seafood menu is all varied.

The food is the closest to traditional Chinese in the city, and it's so much better than the sugary sauced fried entrees of the picture wall restaurants.

A group of us dined their Saturday and we ordered the following:
- Shrimp dumpling soup
- Roasted duck
- Walnut shrimp
- Salt and pepper squid
- Combo fried rice
- Stir fried rice cakes with seafood
- Eggplant with garlic

Everything is served family style in large portions, and shared, making for a fun meal.

If you miss Omi and want a taste of more traditional Chinese food, I highly recommend Asian Seafood House.

I've been hearing good stuff about this place. Can't wait to try it, but I have the problem of finding people that are adventurous to go with me.

While they have a lot of traditional dishes, they also have a ton of menu items for people less adventurous.

One time I went with my niece (7) and nephew (5) and they were eating the fried rice, Singapore style noodles, and salt and pepper squid.

Thanks for the review as I picked up a menu last week when I was at the Asian grocery. Added it to my list of places to go.

Went there the other night for the first time, and really enjoyed it. They put a lot of $ into remodeling the place and it’s really, really nice. The food and service were great. Had black grouper with from the seafood menu, very good.
