I used to live on Royal a couple of blocks from Verti Mart. I hate to say this . . . but after going in there several times and observing . . . the food became less appetizing. I think it's better if you have it delivered or run in for a quick pick up and don't think too much about it.

Rendon inn is on the corner of rendon and mlk. Coming from Washington take left on mlk and left on rendon. On right, next to the hangar. Her food is still delicious and they have most of the Nola brews on tap. Solid neighborhood bar.

I remember going there a long time ago for music but I never was driving and I may have been in an altered state that would affect memory.
