If I ranked the top 10 non chain restaurants in br and lafayette I'd be surprised if br had 3 out of the 10

From what I know, I'd put it about 5-5, which still says a lot about Lafayette (or, maybe, it says more about BR), given that it's about 1/3 the size of BR population wise.

Stroube's
Ginos
Ruffinos
Maison Lacour

Thats 4 that would be top 10 in Lafayette with ease.

Ginos >> Imonelli

Stroubes kicks the ever living dog shite out of Charlie G's which may actually be one of the most overrated places I have ever eaten.

Poorboys Riverside Inn. I like the place but they specialize in Tilapia. Seriously? Plus its not even in Lafayette its in Broussard. I guess I could use Robertos as a comparison. I guess I also get to add latil's landing since outside the city is allowed..

Couchon - Its good buts its NOLA come to town to me. If in lafayette I would rather just eat at home.

Cafe Vermillionville - I like this place I would probably have it in BR's top 10.

La Pagua - I know nothing about this place

Jolie - ehh I cant even say I like the food here.
I wouldnt have had it in my top thats for sure.

I have not tried French Press but would like to.

For BR I would have:

Stroube's
Latil's Landing
Mansurs
Ruffinos
Maison Lacour
Louisiana Lagniappe
Bay Leaf
Ginos
Jubans
Little Village

Did you miss why I added it? He included a Broussard restaurant associated with Lafayette. I said that addition means Latils and Robertos were fair game.
