Here are the final vote tallies:

Lafayette: 194,502
Louisville: 159,006
New Orleans: 57,842
Charleston: 34,283
Charlottesville: 15,642
Houston: 14,321
Birmingham: 13,034
Decatur: 10,588
Baltimore: 10,328
Raleigh: 10,183

If Baltimore's "the South", wouldn't you also have to include D.C.? If so, how does it not make the list?

Yeah, no shite?

I think I actually vaguely recall seeing more than one or two facebook posts about the "voting."

Louisville at #2? New Orleans at #3?

New Orleans is #1. Charleston is #2. I still think Jackson is a top 10 food town in the South.

Is the lunch menu as high priced $$$ as the dinner menu? If so, you gonna need a loan at the bank, or from Uncle Glass.

Yall are acting like this is some end all, be all of lists to name the best food town. It's not hard to understand. It's a public vote where one person could vote more than once. Lafayette residents put it at the top. Good for them.

Personally, it's more proof that all restaurant and food lists are stupid.
