What’s the best po boy place in lafayette?

Pops - fancy po-boys
Uncle T's - fried alligator
Old Tyme - Shrimp
Chris's - Chris's special w/gumbo

Julien's used to be on the list but they went super psycho political. It felt like walking into a Trump rally. I just want to eat a damn sandwich.

Champagnes has been a disappointment.
Why's that? I don't go often, but they have a good alcohol selection, and the Kitchenary next door is a pretty neat shop.

The tuna looked old as shite. Their pre-made stuff is not good. Their chicken patties are awful and it is expensive.

The alcohol section is good though and little pies from next door are legit.

Try riding down the road to Earl's on Verot for some pre-made stuff. Can't speak on any seafood other than shrimp from there though.

My new house is right down the road from Earl's. I have stopped multiple times to grab some beer and boudin to bring to my workers working on the house.

I also like La Pizzeria

Always been one of my favorites in town. Also, Romacelli’s makes a dang good pizza, in my opinion.

Might have to give them some business in that case

Pop's Poboys downtown. I still love Olde Tyme's shrimp poboy, but Pop's has some interesting combos.

This right here

If you want fried shrimp Olde Tyme is hard to beat. I prefer Pop’s for everything else

Gotta order it with extra cheese on top. Changes the whole pizza for the better.

So you need a safe space to eat a sandwich?

As far as pizza goes, central is the best in town. B and C is good. I’ve just had a couple bad experiences there so I won’t be returning. But their food is good.

In full disclosure my family owns market Eatz we’ve had some really great reviews so far. Check em out. Fast casual. Food is really good

It really is good. I’ve been to Sunday brunch 3 weeks in a row. I’m obsessed with the Brunch burger. It’s on of the last few places that can cook a medium rare burger

We went for the first time last week and will definitely be back, the burger was one of the best I’ve had.

It’s pretty solid, you should give Hideaway Cafe’s burger a shot though. It’s the best in Lafayette, IMO.

I will concur that the Market Eatz burger is as legit as it comes. The fries and really thin onion rings are great as well. Good luck at eating only 10 of those.

These pizza comparisons are splitting hairs. My old college bro from out of town calls every time he's coming thru Laffy and ever since I took him to Deano's and Pizza Village, he's just beside himself so happy.
