Taking the kids to see family in the Lafayette area this weekend … was looking at some area pizza places - had anyone ever been to Pizzaville USA?

Pics of the food look decent

I like central as well, its small wouldn't take a lot of kids (that just me though).

Ig you're bringing a bunch of kids, Deanos or Pizza Village

If you want the best pizza, but not really a fun atmosphere for kids, then Central

Pizzaville USA had a short-lived location on Johnston St.(old Bisbano's Pizza location) and I thought it was just ok. I'm assuming you mean the Youngsville or Carencro locations but I haven't tried those.

You can't go wrong with either Central, Deano's, Pizza Village, or La Pizzeria.

Deanos is solid, pretty unique pizza with its crust and tons of toppings

ETA: sorry missed your post saying you were trying to find something new

JJ's Pizza in Broussard is good. I always get the JJ special and a shrimp salad.

Alesi’s

Deano’s if you want a pretty good non traditional pie. Pricing has jumped the shark though

Pizza Village and all cracker crust pizza joints are trash

If Lafayette could get a deep dish pizza franchise it would make a killing here since we have nothing like it.

Giordano's, Malnati's, Pizzeria Uno/Due, etc...

You must not have had real deep dish. The pizza is pretty firm. Even the red sauce is supposed to be thick and doesn’t run.

Now if you would have said it’s closer to a casserole or pot pie I would agree.

Next time you go try the deep fried pepperonis with ranch dip for an app. It’s like pepperoni potato chips.

Give franchise ‘Via 313’ a peek. Detroit style is way better than Chicago deep dish.

Place is growing bigly. I could see them moving in.
