Are there any places where you can smoke and kids can also be there? Seems like the only places one can smoke anymore are all bars that are at least 18+. I'd be curious to know if there are any remaining places in the state that allow kids and smoking.

I don't think kids should be allowed in bars.

Does Borgne have a few TVs? I recall one over the bar.

yeah, they've got a couple over the bar and you can sit at tables across from the bar and still see.

Tracy's or Parasol's? They open for the game?

Where? That Oak Oven place looks like it isn't too far away from opening.

Thanks, LE. Just looked at the site and they are definitely pushing the Super Bowl that night. I'd go early and get a good spot, though, wherever the OP chooses.
Cafe Giovanni has some TVs in the bar, also. They serve food in there. I'd call about the 16 year old to make sure and ask about a reservation, though.

If a place has exposed video poker machines they won't allow anyone under 18. Just letting you know.

Yeah I always thought it was a gambling issue.
Glass, I think so.

Finn's makes minors sit in the other half of the bar away from the VP macines.

Yeah, it's embarrassing how often they have to chase you away from that section when the Dominican girls are hanging out.
