I prefer Canadian. It's smoother IMO.

What you got?

Bourbon all day long, except when it is time for Scotch.

Canadian is too sweet for my taste.

Have been working Bulleit lately.

But Jameson is my love.

This. Or scotch, or Irish whiskey.

Canadian is the lowest form of whiskey, in my opinion.

This.

I prefer bourbon in most cases, but lately have been enjoying Bushmills on the rocks quite a bit.

Haven't started drinking scotch yet, I don't think I'm old enough. I'm only 30.

You're never too young... I'm only 33 and have been enjoying scotch for years.

Some of them are definitely an acquired taste though... there's a lot of variance in scotch flavors.

Anybody ever try this stuff? It's a Canadian single malt whiskey.

It's not a Scotch and it's not a bourbon. It's more like a Bourtch. It's very good, if you can get your hands on it.

That's the most uninformed, fricked up thing I've ever heard a southerner say.

ETA: No shite it's smoother, it's blended up for pussies to enjoy with soda.

Apparently that 'only Kentucky' thing is old convention. I've had NY bourbon before.

quote:

HUDSON BABY BOURBON is the first bourbon whiskey to be distilled in New York. This single grain bourbon is made from 100% New York corn and aged in our special small American Oak barrels. This unique aging process produces a mildly sweet, smooth spirit with hints of vanilla and caramel. The BABY is Tuthilltown’s first whiskey and the first legal pot-distilled whiskey made in New York since prohibition. BABY BOURBON is a perfect introduction to aged whiskey spirits. It is mild and friendly, bright to the tongue and warming all the way down. Each bottle is hand waxed and numbered. It is a true American classic. The BABY is our most sought after spirit. Make sure you alert your fine spirits dealer today to ensure your supply.
