Went to the store on Carrollton Ave. and was dumbfounded at the amount of people in the store still sporting the a face Kotex.

At least 3/4 of the people I saw were still wearing masks and probably 1/2 of the employees were doing the same.

The odd thing was seeing several couples with the woman sporting the mask and the man not.

Oh, and for crawfish prices: Live was posted at $3.50 a lb. and boiled at $4.50 a lb. for those who are looking for them today. At that price, they stay in the store is how I feel, but there are those that just have to have them no matter the cost.

I threw in crawfish prices, so I'd think it qualifies. Besides, how many on the poliboard really give a damn about the price of mudbugs?

Did they make you wear one? If they feel comfortable wearing a mask then let them. What difference does it make?

Serious question, why was this down voted? You people are really that upset that other people are wearing mask? Who gives a shite what anyone else is doing. Seriously, I just don't get it anymore.

Doesn’t bother me in the least if someone else wears a mask. As long as they don’t tell me I have to, good for them.

I suggest you always mark on your calendar to not plan on eating crawfish until after Easter

You must live under a rock if you think those prices are high right now.

Because these thread shouldn’t be on the F&D Board.

This is the most civil board on this site.

And I did just that until the city ended their mask mandate just this week.

The store in Metairie was just the opposite of what I saw this morning with hardly anyone in the store wearing masks while N.O. had the mandate/ vax card showing or recent negative COVID test results.

I did most of my shopping in Metairie to avoid what I consider the stupidity of the mandates leveled by that count of a Mayor.
