I was pumped when I first came across one out of state. Turned out to be a very disappointing meal. Nothing bad about it, but nothing special by any means. I was expecting greatness.

But yeah they did not size us for our gear. Large was the smallest size they would give out. Lots of us had baggy clothes.
These white Rose Bowl warm-ups we got were even worse. And that was when I weighed 195. I'm 162 now and put the jacket on the other day... it's like a bedsheet

Ain't nobody got time for that. Meters await reading.

I thought the same, but getting the fries "well-done" changes the game. Excellent.

Bingo.
In N Out are good, just not worthy of the uberhype that they get...one good thing about Chick Fil A opening here is that they've taken some attention from In N Out and the drive thru lines are somewhat bearable now.
The place that disappointed me was Tommy's. I don't get the fuss about them at all.

Agree wholeheartedly on Shake Shack. Was very underwhelmed. As far as In-n-Out goes, you crazy,

"Animal Style Fries are their classic fries topped off with their famous spread, a slice of cheese and chopped grilled onions. The Animal Style Burger includes extra spread, mustard grilled into the meat patty, and extra pickles in this mess of a burger. You can order Animal style for your double double, 3x3 and 4x4."

give me a whataburger anyday over that shite.

Whataburger can have terribly slow service at times, and will get the occasional order wrong. That's where INO outdoes them and most everyone else.
A good, well-prepared whataburger is the pinnacle of fast food burgers though.
They're different enough, and both good, to enjoy both of these gifts to mankind in moderation.

Anyone ever had a burger from a P. Terry's around the Austin area? Up there with the best fast food burgers in my book.

Culver's is great for fast food. Plus cheese curds and awesome shakes.

I actually prefer my in n out burger regular rather than animal style.
however, I won't eat their fries unless they are animal style.

Did you have them wax your eyebrows while you waited for your food?

what's with the tough guy look?
And I think in-n-out's fries are actually pretty solid. Definitely better than McD's, BK, Wendy's (but not chick fila). Plus they are fresh, as in you can watch the employees slice up potatoes in front of you.
