An older lady from NOLA? Dude, that is Leah Chase

You took the words right of my keyboard.

Wineman, you're in the restaurant biz and not familiar with Leah Chase? That surprises me.

Knew Shaya would win. Really happy about that.

What about Link? He was up for outstanding chef, wasn't he?

Honestly I couldn't remember her name Gris lol

And I was at one of the semifinalists places last night for best new restaurant, Helen Greek food and wine. Full Greek wine and beer list...had a beautiful rose, stellar locally farmed pork gyros...broken pasta with brown butter sauce.

I'll be at la petite grocery and compere Lapin for nowfe this year.

Sucks for a place like Kenton's. If they'd open in a less remote area they could be up for it next year.

Tongue firmly planted in cheek.

I went once about 2 months ago. Thought some things were very good but a lot of it just was average. Beautiful space, nice service, and great bourbons. If I ever make my way to those remote parts of New Orleans Southwest again, I'll swing back in.
