I saw this earlier this morning. :(
He was the chef at City Club while we were planning our wedding there. Incredibly talented man. Breathed some serious life into the place, and he seemed to be very well loved by all who worked under him. I had a friend cooking under him who had nothing but amazing things to say about his skill, knowledge, and his overall demeanor.
What a tragic accident. Definitely thinking of his family and loved ones.

Absolutely crazy how this seems to happen fairly often. What are the odds of a tree falling on a moving car???
RIP to him, seemed like a dang good chef.

Sad to hear. Went for our anniversary this year and it was fantastic.

Worked with him and became friends while I was attending LSU. Absolutely great chef and an even better person. Crushed to see this.

Probably a beetle infested pine tree, those are dropping everywhere.
