Any can't miss places to eat and drink in that area? We will be there in late June.

TIA

Just went and we enjoyed every restaurant we went to.

Food specifically:
Gather
Trio
Liberty Burger
Gun Barrel (for Elk or Bison)

Stillwest was a great place for a beer and sights

Thai Me Up was a interesting place that was a microbrewery and a Thai restaurant

Million Dollar Cowboy Bar: We had one drink there. it was pretty cool for a touristy place, but had a cover for the band that was playing.

Not because of the food, but I always highly recommend 3 places due to the view:

Dornans- sit on the deck outside with pitcher and apps
The Deck at Piste - appetizers and drinks, get there 30 minutes prior to the opening to get a good spot and table as its first come first serve

The Blue Heron at Jackson Lake Lodge- again sit outside and great view

Go do a cowboy dinner and show at the Bar J Ranch if you like cowboy music. Family friendly. I think this is their last season after 41 years.

Very glad you asked this. Taking the family there in May for vacation/baby boy graduation. Looking up different things to do when I saw this thread.

Please, more tips and ideas are appreciated.

We got back at the end of May and really enjoyed our trip. A few restaurants we went to.

Gun barrel steakhouse. It was pretty good. I got the Buffalo ribs but looking back there were better options. The bratwurst/sauerkraut appetizer me and son split was very good.

Genevieve's. Went there for Sunday brunch. Pretty solid but kind of pricy. There were five of us and we all got something different. All pretty good but my huevos con Chile Verde was the best. Stay away from any of their "cajun" specialties! I stress that. Also reservations are suggested.

My favorite all around restaurant was a simple place. Bubba's bbq. Breakfast, lunch and supper for a good price. Good simple spot for the family.

Keep in mind, I'm not a high roller so I found jackson hole in general pretty expensive in all aspects.

We spent several days at parks. I would suggest going to alberstsons just outside of downtown for sandwich type stuff. Also get to know the butcher. From Louisiana and wearing the LSU mask.

They were closed for some reason when we went. I think some places were limiting their hours or doing some vacation time. We went right before the summer season started.

We stayed at snow king mountain. I really wanted to try Stillwest but they were closed the night we wanted to go.
