I’ve never eaten KFC chicken in my life

Am I weird? Am I missing out? I pass one every day but I’ve always been a Popeyes person so I’ve always just gone there instead. Is KFC worth trying out or should I just stick to Popeyes and my other favorite, CFA?

When I was a little kid my grandmother died. Our neighbor brought over a bucket of KFC. An actual BUCKET. I was so impressed. Only time I've ever had one.

Like most fried chicken chains, it can depend greatly on the location. There's a church's near me that I enjoy a lot and prefer over all the rest near by. Other places, it may be not as good.

I don't get it easily but any greasy food can give someone diarrhea and last I heard KFC isn't baked chicken

I've never gotten diarrhea from KFC or the OT staples to place that blame on: taco Bell or Chipotle.

Biscuits and coleslaw were always the best (25 yrs ago). Chicken was not bad, but there is a Popeyes love on this board, guess it's the NOLA bias. I find Church's chicken is better than Popeyes, they even beat them on the spicy. I'll give Popeyes the rice dressing winner hands down, but not much else since they quit serving onion rings.

IMO, KFC has a better menu, better tenders, and a good chicken sandwich. That being said, Popeyes came out with a better chicken sandwich and has better chicken on the bone. KFC has better service and doesn’t run out of popular items for 3 days.
