Is Yuengling Black and Tan considered a pretty good beer?

Yep. Don’t call it a B&T in Ireland. It’s a Half and Half.

It is decent but the both their other Porters are better:

Hershey's Chocolate Porter and the Dark Brewed Porter. If you like chocolate Stouts you will likely like their chocolate Porter, I think it is the best beer they brew.

It's ok as a change of taste but I wouldn't call it good or say that it is like a fresh poured real B&T. If you want to drink several of the same beer, that ain't it.

OP here, why did I get 7 downvotes and 0 up for a simple, honest question?

Are there a bunch of pretentious, nose in the air beer snobs here?

Jesus Christ, the amount of times I've had to warn people about this before traveling to the ROI and Liverpool is astounding.

Everyone hit up Bing for the term "Black and Tan," and the Republicans in Ireland will wait while hoping to beat your arse if you say it again.

It's not bad, and better than the rest I could find at the gas station at Disney Springs. Buy a 12 pack in addition to your go to and sample it. Someone will drink it before the end of the month if you don't like it.

Most Yuengling is trash. It's what trashy beer drinks call "fancy" beer that can't afford craft beer.

I like them bc they are only $13 a 12 pack. As opposed to 16 for a 12 of Amber Bock.
