I've got some ground beef that's been frozen for a while.

Is there a way to get it somewhat tasty for grilling burgers? Usually they get dried out.

The last thing you want to make with that is something where the beef taste is forward, like hamburgers.

Cover up the taste with lots of seasoning, like tacos, where the beef is in the background.

chili, spaghetti sauce, tacos, something like that, where the spices in the sauce take over.

that is an option

I've been able to make it somewhat tolerable by adding onion, liquid smoke, olive oil, a little bread crumbs to make a smash burger in a skillet. With BBQ sauce it was tolerable.

But, everyone is giving the better advice. Tacos, spaghetti, chili, etc., are a better way to make use of it.

Nah. If it's remained frozen and sealed, it'll be ok in chili or spaghetti sauce or vegetable soup, or something like that.

Get you some Hamburger Helper. I’ve yet to find a flavor I don’t like.

And it does just fine by itself.

If it's got ice on it it'll have freezer burn and it's almost impossible to get rid of. I'd crop off the outer layer and cook the middle part.
